Hi, busy bees! Today I want to share one of my favorite dip recipes that I love to make for my family and friends. This Sour Cream Dip Recipe only requires four ingredients and it’s so easy to make. Plus, it’s always a hit at parties and potlucks! Last Super Bowl, I made this multiple times because people can’t get enough of it. 😁
Whenever there’s a big game or a special event, I always whip up my signature sour cream dip recipe. It’s a simple recipe, yet I’m sure you’ll enjoy it! 😍
I start by preparing all the ingredients we need, including sour cream, yellow mustard, chili sauce, and celery seed. I mix them all together in a bowl and let it sit in the fridge for a few hours to let the flavors meld together.
On game day, I bring out the sour cream dip and set it on the coffee table along with some tortilla chips and veggies. My husband and daughter can’t resist the creamy and savory dip, and they always go back for seconds and even thirds.
This dip is perfect for any occasion, whether it’s a family movie night or a big Super Bowl party. It’s always a crowd pleaser and it’s so simple to make. I hope you give this recipe a try and let me know what you think. Happy snacking!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of sour cream
- 2 tablespoons of yellow mustard
- 1/4 cup of chili sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon of celery seed
Directions:
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, whisk together the sour cream, yellow mustard, chili sauce, and celery seed until everything is well combined. You can adjust the amount of each ingredient to suit your taste. If you prefer a spicier dip, add more chili sauce. If you love the flavor of mustard, add an extra tablespoon.
- Once everything is mixed together, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving. This will give the flavors time to meld together and the dip will thicken up a bit.
- When you’re ready to serve the dip, transfer it to a serving bowl and garnish with a sprinkle of celery seed on top. I love serving this dip with fresh veggies like carrots, celery, bell peppers, or some crispy tortilla chips.
