If you want a tasty and easy breakfast, you should give this Egg Drop Sandwich Recipe a shot! Happy cooking and happy eating, busy bees! 🐝

Ingredients:

  • 4 eggs
  • 4 slices of your favorite bread
  • 4 slices of cheese (cheddar or Swiss work great)
  • 4 strips of bacon
  • Butter or cooking oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Garlic mayo
  • Sriracha mayo
  • Optional: chives or parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Crack the eggs into a bowl, season with a pinch of salt and pepper, and whisk until the yolks and whites are well combined. This ensures fluffy and flavorful scrambled eggs.
  2. In a separate skillet, cook the bacon until it’s irresistibly crispy. Place it on a plate lined with paper towels to soak up any excess grease. Try baking the bacon in the oven for that perfect crispiness while you prepare the eggs.
  3. In a non-stick skillet, melt a bit of butter over medium-low heat. Pour in your beaten eggs and let them cook. Gently stir occasionally until they’re softly scrambled but still slightly runny. Remove them from the heat; they’ll continue cooking off the heat.
  4. Assemble your sandwiches. Place a slice of cheese on each slice of bread. Top half of the bread slices with the crispy bacon, then spoon the scrambled eggs on top. Add another slice of cheese, and complete the sandwich with the remaining slices of bread.
  5. In the same skillet used for the eggs, melt more butter over medium-low heat. Place your sandwiches in the skillet and grill them for a few minutes on each side until they’re golden brown and the cheese is beautifully melted.
  6. Remove your Korean Egg Drop Sandwiches from the skillet and let them cool for a minute. Before serving, sprinkle some fresh parsley on top for a burst of color and freshness. Now, add a dollop of garlic mayo and sriracha mayo for that extra kick.
