While watching one of my favorite cooking shows, I always see them making risotto. The idea of trying to make my own Risotto Recipe came to mind—a dish I had always wanted to try. - 4 cups of chicken or vegetable broth
- 1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons of butter

- First, we heat up the chicken broth in a pot and keep it simmering on low heat. Then, we melt a few tablespoons of butter in a separate pan and add the Arborio rice, stirring constantly until it’s coated in the butter.
- Next, we start adding the chicken broth one ladle at a time to the rice, stirring constantly until the liquid is absorbed. This process takes around 20-25 minutes, but it’s important to not rush it. The constant stirring is what creates the creamy texture that we all love in risotto.
- Once the rice is cooked and creamy, we add in a generous amount of freshly grated Parmesan cheese and stir it in until it’s melted and well combined. The cheese adds a delicious nutty flavor and creaminess to the risotto.
- Finally, we serve it up hot in bowls and enjoy it with a glass of wine or some garlic bread on the side.
