Ingredients:

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 4 small corn tostadas
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 4 slices of American cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • Pickles, optional
  • Ketchup and mustard

 

Instructions:

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped onion and minced garlic until they’re fragrant and soft. Add the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through, breaking it into small pieces with a spatula.
  2. To assemble the Crunch Wraps, place a flour tortilla on a clean surface. In the center, add a spoonful of the cooked beef mixture. Top it with a slice of American cheese, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and pickles if you like.
  3. Now, here comes the fun part. Place a small corn tostada on top of your burger fixings. It adds a fantastic crunch and keeps everything together.
  4. To fold your Crunch Wrap, start with one edge of the tortilla and fold it toward the center. Continue folding all the way around until you have a neat, sealed package. Place it seam-side down on a heated skillet or griddle. Cook for a few minutes on each side until it’s golden brown and crispy.
  5. Before serving, open your Crunch Wrap and drizzle in some ketchup and mustard for that classic burger taste. Then, close it back up, and you’re ready to enjoy!
