Hello, busy bees! Remember those crepe rolls you always had at the mall or at the amusement park? On our last visit to an amusement park, there was this one stall – a vendor making thin crepes on a hot griddle, filling them with chocolate. It’s always exciting to watch the vendor make one for you, and when he/she finally hands you your Crepe Roll and you take the first bite, it’s just amazing! So today, I’m sharing you my own Crepe Roll Recipe! 🥞

When we returned home, my daughter immediately asked me if I could make her one with her favorite fillings for breakfast. I couldn’t resist because it wasn’t only her begging me to make Crepe Rolls but also my husband, hahaha. 😂

I went for the sweet, creamy blend of cream cheese, powdered sugar, and fresh strawberries. But the possibilities are endless! You can easily make one with the classic chocolate spread like Nutella, and adding chocolate chips to the batter for the crepe is just perfection! 🍓🍫

Crepe Roll Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Pinch of salt
  • Chosen filling (Cream cheese, Strawberries, Nutella)

 

Instructions:

  1. Throw the flour, eggs, milk, butter, salt, and vanilla (if using) into a blender.
  2. Let the batter rest for 30 minutes. This makes the crepes smooth and dreamy.
  3. Melt some butter in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Pour a thin layer of batter in the pan and tilt it to spread it evenly.
  5. Once the edges brown and the center is set, carefully flip the crepe.
  6. Spread your chosen filling on the cooked crepe.
  7. Roll up the crepe and keep going until all the batter is gone.
  8. Serve your crepe rolls right away, or save them for later.
