So, after a bit of research and an impulse to try something new, I decided to take on the challenge. What amazed me most was the versatility of this appetizer. When making this recipe, start with older eggs as they peel more easily. After boiling, transfer them to an ice bath for easier peeling. Use a zip-lock bag with the corner snipped off to pipe the yolk mixture for a cleaner, more elegant look. ✨

  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprika or chopped chives for garnish (optional)

 

Instructions:

  1. Place the eggs in a pot, cover with water, and bring to a boil. Remove from heat, cover, and let sit for 10-12 minutes. Cool in cold water, peel, and slice in half lengthwise.
  2. Carefully remove the yolks and place them in a bowl. Mash the yolks with mayo, mustard, salt, and pepper until creamy.
  3. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  4. Sprinkle with paprika or chopped chives for an extra touch.
