Ingredients:

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

 

Instructions:

  1. Chill the mixing bowl and beaters in the freezer for about 15-20 minutes before starting.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. This can take around 3-5 minutes with an electric mixer.
  3. Pour the sweetened condensed milk into the whipped cream. Add vanilla extract or any other desired flavorings if using.
  4. Gently fold the condensed milk into the whipped cream until well combined. Be careful not to deflate the whipped cream too much.
  5. If you’re adding extra mix-ins like chocolate chips or nuts, gently fold them into the mixture.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a freezer-safe container or loaf pan. Smooth out the top with a spatula.
  7. Cover the container with a lid or plastic wrap. Place it in the freezer and let it set for at least 6 hours, or preferably overnight.
  8. Once the ice cream is frozen and set, scoop and serve as desired!
