Hi, busy bees! Today, I’m thrilled to share my scrumptious Tiramisu Recipe with you. Get ready to dive in layers of creamy goodness, delicate ladyfingers soaked in coffee, and a hint of heavenly cocoa. Whether it’s for a special occasion or simply to treat yourself, this Tiramisu will be a delightful addition to your dessert recipes. 🍰

In the kitchen, I carefully whipped up the mascarpone cream, layering it with coffee-soaked ladyfingers. The aroma of coffee and the creamy sweetness filled the air, making my mouth water. 😋

After assembling the layers, I dusted the top with cocoa powder, giving it a finishing touch. The Tiramisu went into the refrigerator to chill and set. I crossed my fingers, hoping my family would enjoy it. 🤞

The combination of creamy mascarpone cheese, coffee-soaked ladyfingers, and a touch of cocoa was simply heavenly. The Tiramisu had a balanced sweetness, and the coffee flavor was just right, not overpowering but definitely present.

The best part was that it got even better with time. After chilling in the refrigerator, the flavors melded together beautifully, creating an even more delicious Tiramisu the next day. Happy baking and happy eating, busy bees! 🐝

Ingredients:

  • 6 egg yolks
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 3/4 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1/4 cup coffee liqueur (optional)
  • 1 package ladyfingers (about 24)
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and sugar until creamy and pale in color.
  2. Add the mascarpone cheese to the egg yolk mixture and whisk until well combined and smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully incorporated. Be careful not to overmix.
  5. In a shallow dish, combine the brewed coffee and coffee liqueur (if using).
  6. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, making sure not to soak them too long to avoid sogginess.
  7. Layer half of the soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of a 9×9-inch baking dish.
  8. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers, creating an even layer.
  9. Repeat the layers with the remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture.
  10. Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate the Tiramisu for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld.
  11. Before serving, dust the top of the Tiramisu with unsweetened cocoa powder using a fine sieve.
